Gray Zone Warfare

Gray Zone Warfare

Horrible looking graphics?
Is anyone else noticing the atrocious looking graphics? I'm running a 2080Ti, which shouldn't have an issue with this game, even with the Nvidia control panel settings maxed and in-game settings maxed, it looks pixelated and bleh.. Drivers have been updated, reset all of the Nvidia control panel settings, etc. The game itself runs fine, but looks horrible.. While I understand this game literally just came out and it's a work in progress, just curious if anyone else is having similar issues?

Same issue with RX 7900XT, adjusting anti-aliasing makes it look a little better but it still looks bad

I guess you already did it but in my case, when I first launched the game, resolution was set on lower than the one I used usually. I had to change to fullscreen mode to be able to set my own resolution. The game was good then.
In any case, good luck with your issue guys.

Ive been having the same problem where the FPS is alright but the game looks horrible with the trees and shadows being all blurry and pixelated compared to other people.

I originally had this too, was due to DLSS on performance preset. Bump up DLSS to atleast balanced or ideally quality. If you lose too many frames, switch to Quality FSR and use Frame Gen.

what resolution and upscale do you use? if 1080p, this will happen if you use DLSS or FSR on top of it. and if you add framegen it will look like green soup.

Yea I have 1080p and it looks like green soup is there a way to fix this because I've seen other people and you can tell they are trees and not green mush

Looks fine for me. Not the best looking game ever made but certainly not a bad looking game from a smaller studio.

The game is supposed to look beautiful with all the bright green fluffy trees but my game is just a big pixelated blurry mess and it makes it impossible to see people from a far

3070 on high 1440p and it looks perfectly fine to me. Haven't noticed anything that bad.

Yea you can actually see the details in the trees and it’s not a green mess like mine is it because I’m running on 1080p?

games nowadays are made for 4k. when you DOWNSCALE to 1080p or 2k, it gets pixelated. Currently there's no way to solve this problem. Or you get a smaller monitor, or you let it be and accept that unfortunately every game will look like ♥♥♥♥ at 1080p
and yes... i think it looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥ as well

I haven't even touched my settings from default but mine looks pretty good.

But my guess is you are having a resolution issue or its related to the FSR/DLSS and the upsampling.

No, I used DLAA and not DLSS for the AA and then I used frame gen to make up for the FPS hit of all the graphics settings. There is no reason for me to use DLSS.
