Cannot Download Game

I can't even install the game
It's stuck in a loop. I get 99% done with the install and the it just restarts and freezes the install at 2% completed. Any time I restart my computer to try to continue it, same thing repeats.

I have restarted the PC and it's a never ending loop of the above. Pausing and resuming the download doesn't seem to do anything. I cannot verify the integrity of the game files either.

I reinstalled it on my external hard drive and it worked. When in installed on my SSD, it wouldn't work, but when installing on my external HD, it installed fine. Not sure if it was a space problem or what because at time of install, SSD had 128GB available and didn't work. External harddrive had 3TB available at time of install. IDK, but i'll take it.

If anyone else has this issue. Your steam folder is set to read only. To fix this go onto your c drive, right click the steam folder, properties and untick read only so nothing is ticked. Apply and then security and set your account to have full control and apply if it doesn’t. Hope this helps :)

Just give it time mine was doing the same and I just let it sit there long enough and it fixed it

I ended up reinstalling on my external hard drive and left it over night. When I woke up in the morning it was installed. Though installed, it's still so buggy that it's unplayable. Even on may 4 i am without head and naked.
