Red lock?

Whats the red lock on attachments? I also cant reload that weapon

It's because you are holding the weapon in your hand while trying to modify it. Place it in your inventory and try that way. I ran into this same issue and this appears to be why it's happening.

Sucks how, if that is the case, you can't reload it either.

Dunno if it's an actual game mechanic or a bug but yes I had an AK that at first reloaded just fine but after like five times it wouldn't and the magazine was locked in.

My head canon for it is that you're using a rusty AK without a cover picked up from the corpse of a rice farmer that had it laying on the back of his shed for the past ten years, it's a miracle it didn't blow up in your face.

It is possible to reload if you have the right mag available on your body, not in the locker tho

the reload with the weapons issue is, the mag must be stowed in your RIG and NOT your back pack or elsewhere,i had this specifically with the AK variants until i figured it out,hope this helps.

I don't understand why the magazine is locked when you are holding it. You can reload your mag. But you can't inspect it and unload the mag, not without putting it on your back (makes no sense) or in your storage (makes no sense).

If I can reload, why can't I just simply un-attach it?

I just died because of this. Running around with my head cut off like a chicken trying to reload. I definitely had full mags for my AK in my chest rig. Maybe it is a bug?
