Textures won't load because of UE5?

Hey all,

I've had this problem with UE5 before. I thought it was just the graphics of the new engine, but I had my buddy stream his game and it looked remarkably better, and he has a 2070. All of my textures look extremely low resolution. Screenshots at the links below:

I've tried just every setting in-game and nothing has made the game look any better. Like I said, I've seen this in other UE5 games before, but always chalked it up to how UE5 is supposed to look. How do I correct this?

System specs:
Windows 11
i7-12650H
16GB RAM
RTX3060
SSD for storage

I have a 3060 and they load but I own a 5800x as my cpu so very interesting, oh my card is the 12gb oc v2 design

You need at least 10gb of VRAM as per the minimum requirements on the store page. cards with 6-8gb of VRAM will not be able to load the textures into memory properly.

I got the textures to show up once and it was very brief. And then they went back to low res. On the overall settings, set it all to low. And then it kinda works for about 3 or 4 minutes. I do hope someone or they finally solve this issue.

And the 6800 is 16gb, read it fully, this game needs at least 10gb of VRAM on low texture settings as that's how much it allocates, if you want the textures to load you need at least 10gb.

why do they recommend a 3070ti and not a 3080 then?
