What to do if reaching 0 money and no items?

EDIT: i've got gud and not only recovered from all my losses but quadrupled my inventory and equip, thanks for the replies, no need to reply further

So, i've died quite a few times. And had to buy some starting gear to get back because, as it seems like, knife is utterly useless.

I like the thing that mobs can and will oneshot you, but what to do if you're broke and without any gear?

I know they're different games, but atleast in Hunt:Showdown, if you reach below some money, hunters with a starting gear are given to you for free.

I went out with jusst a knife, did some looting, got an ak and some ammo. Problem solved.

It's super hard though, enemies literally oneshot you

same thing that would happen in tarkov I bet, you ought to go naked with only a knife and pray to kill a dumb ai lol.

Theres a lot of series of people doing that in tarkov, if you want to have a feeling of what it looks llike, just type "zero to hero tarkov" or something like that. I bet people will do the same here

I have killed an Ai with a knife, not as easy as Tarkov but definitely achievable

from i have seen tonight, you could actually head to a city then you'll def. find lots of dead bodies. loot them, you get your at least a weapon, then start pew pew. there more loots...
if you still die till you having nothing, it's your tactics in surviving at fault.

yeah i know, sometimes i find myself stuck between a rock and a hard place and i get oneshotted, i have to be more careful

i chased an AI with a knife, killed him eventually, took a couple of swings, im sure it looked comical to anyone that saw me do it :D

Just walk into any city area and pick up an AK from the numerous corpses.

There are also weapons in crates scattered about in the cities.
