Gotta go slow when you don’t know what you’re doing, so-to-speak.
Tucking away things behind a subscribe wall isn't proudly displaying it. Companies have been doing this lately and outside of populating a meaningless discord channel, it's just cutting off your consumers from your communciation. Also, that's not a road map, that's just a list of hopes and dreams. Road maps have thoughtout and structured concrete goalposts to work towards.
Discord is free.
Also, a road-map is just that, hopes, intentions. Wants and planned implementation. Nothing is guaranteed until it is released in production.
Nobody said anything about money, so weird.
That's like going to the gas station when you're lost, grabbing a road map, and it's only a text list of words that have no rhyme or reason, and are all randomized. Your conflating what a road map is with what people have told you a road map is...
You literally said this:
"Tucking away things behind a subscribe wall isn't proudly displaying it."
My apology for taking that as paid subscription nod. You can join and leave Discord servers, freely. I get it, though, if you want that info sitckied here, makes sense.
Yep, they put all their important info on 3rd party - well away from the game’s storefront, so it’s as inconvenient as possible.
Why should anyone listen to you when you interject with irrelevant things, then misinterpret the word "subscribe" and for some reason assume the word has anything to do with money?
- I wrote that before I saw you're edit. I get that it's free to join and leave on a whim, but it's extra steps and clutter instead of directly speaking to all of your customers through the storefront they all purchased it on.
I was just asking because you were correcting me on what a road map is but conflating subscribe with a paid subscription. It was a harmless rhetorical question.
People expect something when you release a Roadmap.
If you can deliver people will be happy.
If you dont deliver people will be mad.
And if i take a closer look at this game i can tell you , they wont deliver.
(if you feel offended by this then yes, i mean you)
