Gray Zone Warfare

Performance
According to the Game page it says that

MINIMUM:

Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows® 10 64 Bit (latest update)
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-8600 / AMD Ryzen™ 5 2600
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 / AMD Radeon™ RX 5700 / Intel® Arc™ A770
DirectX: Version 12
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 40 GB available space

RECOMMENDED:

Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows® 10 64 Bit (latest update) / Windows® 11 64 Bit (latest update)
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-9700K / AMD Ryzen™ 5 3600X
Memory: 32 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 3070 Ti / AMD Radeon™ RX 6800
DirectX: Version 12
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 40 GB available space

So i should be within the minimun aspect of being able to play the game
Ryzen 5 3600
16 gb Ram
GTX 1660 TI

Im not expecting a huge FPS turn out since im happy enough with 30-60 FPS aslong as the games pretty smooth and i can play it thats fine with me

but im just a bit curios as to why i have everything on low
Frame generation/Super Resolution on
and im barely getting 10 frames,

Honestly im really not sure what to do, Would it be a good idea to wait for things to stabalize? or just refund the game?

You don't meet the minimum requirements though, the GTX 1080 outperforms the GTX 1660 TI, making your card lower than the minimum requirements. CPU is about equal to the i5 8600 according to benchmarks.

Also going for minimum requirements is never going to end well, especially for early access games that almost always have ♥♥♥♥ performance. It'll pretty much mean the game can run, but you won't get any kind of playable frames without mostly gutting the graphics.

Your GPU is well below the minimum. That is a VERY weak gaming card. In fact, it's not a gaming card at all.

Imagine saying a 1660 TI is not a gaming card like this one chop above.. As if we all can afford to upgrade to the latest 2024 cards.. These guys live in a small bubble. I literally have been playing on a GTX 1650 super for years. Even did MW2 (DMZ in particular) and it ran fine. MW3 couldn't so upgraded to my only option. A RX6600 with a Ryzen 5 2600.. My bro use a 1660 super and he can run MW3 easily at 70-100frames similar to the rx6600.. Now I'm no ta huge MW3 fan but its a new launch and easy to compare the scale of it to any new fps games. It has tons more activity and players and the fps can stay stable up there while the game looks fine. Yet they call a 1660 TI not even a gaming GPU..

The issue is with the game.. not the hardware.. Any game should be able to be toned down to enjoy stable gaming at 60fps regardless the hardware. Now my RX6600 surpass a RX5700 so technically I should be able to buy this game and play it but I'm not even going to attempt that until I see people run this game with my setup at decent frames.

Look, The GTX 1600 series of GPU's is old. Then on top of that to have the 60 version makes matters worse. It's old and a low level card. Even at release, this was not a good gaming card. Can you get games to play? Sure if you don't buy demanding games and play on lower graphic settings. But to run a demanding state of art UE5+ game on a GTX 1660 TI, will be problematic at best. There is a reason they have minimum hardware specs. I would recommend the OP try Incursion Red River. It's also a UE5+ PvE tactical game but the minimum is a 1060 which the OP exceeds. Much better shot here.

Yes true. regarding Incursion Red River.. I play that on my RX6600. and my brother plays it on his 1660 super. Now I had to tune it down abit to get around 50-60fps even on my rx but its looks ok

AY doesnt hurt to keep it In my country its only around 18-19 usd maybe ill get to upgrade my pc in the future!

So this is the new gaming engine a LOT of games will be using for the future, UE5 (Unreal Engine), i have played a few on it now, even know some edits to get good performance on a 5700XT, Like disable Global illumination for massive FPS boost, thats in Pax Dei and Ark Survival Ascended, not this GZW.

10 fps is pretty weak TBH, I was playing with a guy getting 40 - 60 with same card.

I was getting 40 FPS all low, FSR performance and was a little disappointed but Frame Gen fixed all that, I normally hate frame gen but its done right in this game, Getting 60 - 90 depending and It feels good, like low latency, it felt worse without it.
