How is the performance in this game so BAD?

Try turning on FSR instead of the default DLSS. Saw this somewhere else and it more than doubled my framerate.

Considering fps it works very well with 4080 in fullhd without dlss or frame generation. Frame generation works as well, lowering even more gpu load. Middle settings got around 50% of gpu (no antialiasing).

Thats the thing. Performance in video games is not just about the GPU but the whole system? Lacking RAM? Bottleneck? Having a fast CPU with old architecture? Bottlenecked.
You cant expect demanding open world games to run well on your PC (especially if they get released in EA) if your CPU is over 3 generations old.

You cant expect demanding open world games to run well on your PC (especially if they get released in EA) if your CPU is over 3 generations old.

Of course I can expect that. I won't upgrade each and every time my PC only because the devs aren't able to optimize the game. This is what they recommend:

Do try this. It works.

I had DLSS on and it didn't help. Once i turned on FSR and used the balanced mode, my frames went up to max 70+ . Frames can go up even higher if i use ultra performance mode, but then it'll make the game look very scuffed.

Before i was rocking 20-60ish fps, with everything on LOW.
