Gray Zone Warfare

CPU Usage nearly at 100% (95-100%)
Title says it all, I don't know whats happening in this game but watching my CPU burn is not fun at all.
My Specs:
CPU Intel So1700 Core i9-12900K & CPWK Intel/AMD MSI MAG CORELIQUID
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 12GB
MBI So1700 MSI Pro Z790-P WIFI DDR5
RAM DDR5-5600 32GB PC5-44800U
Idk if thats an optimization issue or not but if thats really the case i see a lot of PC's burning.
If you guys have any solutions i would be thankful

Your hardware is literally designed to be that way and you're crying about using all the power? Don't have to understand that lmao

you can refund, up to 2hr of play time
Intel is a scam sadly. instead of making their chip more efficient they just continue with early 2010 technology of 10mn. so that's why your CPU sits at 100% and draws as much power as ur 4070 just watching youtube or gaming or doing anything lol

i9-10850k
4080 super
64gb ram

cpu was spiking at 97 degrees, plenty of cooling but still scary to see those numbers.

90%+ usage of both GPU and CPU is a good thing. Not a bad thing. It means that the game is utilizing your hardware properly.
If you are getting high temps, it's your underwhelming cooling - not the game's fault.

I don't have the game but you could try limiting your CPU usage or disabling hyper threading or adjust the affinity.

Plenty of programs for this. I use process lasso, personally. There's a free version. The only issue with the free version is the one-time popup asking to upgrade to premium on login.

To be fair, it's free and login is the only time you see it but I'm sure there's others. I like process lasso because it remembers CPU settings for processes. E.g high priority automatically on a process when it's started rather than opening task manager each time. Or switching to high performance when a game is running but back to balanced when it's closed. I'm not associated with it but it's fantastic tbh so it's a hard recommend. Especially in CPU bottleneck scenarios.

90% cpu usage will bottleneck gpu you genius.
You 2 need to do your homework and actually learn about pc hardware and how it's works...

r7 5700 and rtx 3070 same here, on low settings at 2k i got like 30 fps lol. everything is loaded to 100%

didn't even gave them attention because they haven't done their homework lol

Is it a constant load even if you wait for a long time? There could be a shader compilation step running on the background that usually tax CPU to the max. Once it's done, it should drop do whatever the norm is for the game.

I don't have the game, so I am only basing my post on your description. If it is a shader compilation step, then it should get better once that is done (so you could try to wait a bit and see if it helps).

But it is also completely possible that there is something else happening.

i was waiting nearly 30 minutes in the game in the basement and was walking around a bit and nearly 30 minutes should be more than enough for my pc or even any game to load shaders so i think its an optimization issue but i still could be wrong
