The Truth about GrayZone Warfare
The absolute truth is that GrayZone Warfare is a next gen game developed on unreal engine 5. The game is completely playable on a modern pc which is why the player numbers are strong every single day. 8GB Vram and an SSD is a must. people trying to play the game with grandpa's hand me down pc are not going to be able to play this but they will still try and leave a negative review as if its the game and not their pc.

The developers have not received a penny from Steam yet as Steam pays developers 30 days after the calender month that they sell the game. So the end of may is when they will get the day 1 sales money and the end of june is when they will get the rest of the sales so far.

They immediately released 3 hotfixes to address issues and are working on the first major patch/update right now and testing it for release.

This game is 20% done with development and already has hundreds of hours of gameplay. I'm 130 hours in and haven't even finished half the quests. (I'm finding every piece of info myself)

Negative reviewers seem to forget what early access means...it means its not done...you bought a product that wasn't finished and complain that it's not finished. do the math.

This is in no way anywhere close to being a scam, there is a very legitimate game here and will have an incredible future. come back in 6 months to a year and see how silly you feel about your scam reviews. We will be here playing gzw waiting

No. I have solid performance on other AAA games and fast internet. When I get DC'd in the base and lose all my gear with no way to recover it, and then research the problem and see it is common, yeah um no. It's not exactly playable yet. I have high hopes for the game but it's currently overrated.

the way i see it, people have absolutely the wrong expectations of what they've bought here. yes, early access is no excuse for anything, but we're playing an early alpha or beta here. And all those who are crying here secretly expect to use a finished product. that's not the case. let's talk again in a year or even more...

it's ok not to be happy with it but you see people here talking about the game being dead because there hasn't been a patch for a week, guys the game is how old ? 2 weeks ? absolutely childish behavior and no sense of how development works

let's be real it's a problem with people creating hype for a game and forgetting that it's not even finished yet

I had the same problems, changing DLSS to FSR helped me, since then not a single game crash where I would lose equipment

Over 60% of all Steam users don't even have the minimum requirements to play the game on it's lowest settings. Too many user with unrealistic expectations trying to play modern games on outdated hardware, then blame the devs for performance issues.

Even then, there's quite of few players who do have the system requirements, but don't understand the type of game Grayzone is, then turn around and complain about the nature of the game.

And you know this how? Where did you pull that statistic?

I can run this on an i3 12100f 16gb ram and a gtx1660super. I can squeeze 40/45 fps out of it with everything low, 1080p. Only crashed when I tried frame gen in the first day but from what i gather thats an nvidia issue with frame gen on older cards amd a whole different rabbit hole. Couple of server disconnects but other than that 50 hrs solid gameplay. Game isn't unplayable/broken. Defo has bugs, deffo has issues that need fixing but it's neither a scam nor unplayable. It is early access and by default should be expected from any buyer that it will come with bugs and issues but the fun and volume of gameplay I've had out of it already is more than some "finished" games I've bought at full release.

just go in -> steam store -> hardware statistic

and compare it to GZW hardware requirements

Game's solid. Flawed immensely, but like you said, chocked full of content. I personally have not lost gear once to any technical failure, have only crashed once, and when I crashed, was able to log back in at the same spot (ish) I crashed at. NOW, my buddy has crashed multiple times, and I've noticed if he was moving, whichever way he was traversing he continues to do so until he despawns. I have had to protect his unoccupied character from enemy fire until he's relogged. That's probably where people lose their gear when they crash. Maybe? Idk. tl;dr game's good, you're right

Game sucks, random disconnects and glitches are turning players away and not to mention the dookie optimization, don't be surprised when the playerbase drops by the end of the month.

I have lost gear to a server crash. I got killed somewhere, then respawned in base camp and headded out but server crashed before I made it back to my body and when joined was on a new server so no body. no stuff to loot back.

bit of a bummer, but its early access so these things can happen. game will be reset at launch so will have to do everything again then anyway. For now I am just enjoying the game and learning the combat. and maps a little.
Yeah i have no performance issues, i don't think ive even crashed once. The game is alot of fun i really enjoy the pve even tho the ai are insane in tiger bay. I do agree that polish is needed and i know that will come soon but optimization will take some time. I am here for the long haul, and i am glad we are getting some bug fixes coming up. Keep up the good work MADFINGER!
