Even as a person that is annoyed with the AI in it's current state, I full on agree with as little hand holding as possible. No death marker adds another side of tactical situations, like why am I taking cover in a cornfield? That's not cover, cornfields and foliage should only be used to break line of sight so you can get to proper cover; if there is no proper cover, why did you engage the fight? Simply put, outside of very extraordinary situations, if I cannot find my body, that is on me for being a ditz, being somewhere I shouldn't have been, and not on the game or the devs.
Same, really enjoy too
I died waiting for the helicopter were the AI were actually spawning and attacking me, wasn't hiding at all, was waiting on extraction, but fair enough.
Was just an idea.
