Lets talk about getting hard stuck on kill boss tasks.

Look, im in love with this game. Its such a nice break from EFT, but if all progress gets hard locked with you hit tasks that need you to kill the bosses in the specific marked locations, half the time I dont even wanna log on. If your team is there, dont bother going, not to mention the likely hood of it already being cleared by another faction. Its really boring to log on, check the map, and go "eh. looks like i cant play for a few more hours". I was on the ban pa leader for nearly a week until I just got lucky. It does not feel that good. Maybe dont make so many locked behind them. I cant progress until I finish Night Ocean and Negotiator. Killing my motivation to log on.

Same goes with key quests. They are a wall of grinding until you get lucky.

Again love the game, but when im enjoying the progression getting hit with these that can take days sucks.

you cant kill the bosses? lets talk about hard locked by keys.

Every boss you can snipe from 3-400m away. Except for the bunker, in which case i suggest the well entrance and make liberal use of grenades. Bosses spawn every 15 min.

Its not that I cant, its fighting with other factions to kill them first, or your own. Just hoping they are there feels sucky. And Idk about the 15 min unless the devs stated that themselves. I sat for a lot longer in sniping spot watching the spawn area to not see them. And clearing the area after to make sure.

Try joint operations just for a change if its a hard task or the task is across the map. I leave it to retrieving items for warfare mode that are easily obtainable.

I agree, i do this already. I love how they allow cross progression

Keys are okay cos people share, boss's however though absolutely suck. Even if you team up your still stuck because someone else can kill the boss by mistake or just take it to mess with you.

took me 4 days of straight farming and asking for the office storage key at sawmill, i was only able to enter the room because i found a server that had it open after i cleared the area

the many many hours of doing YBL tasks 3 times for different people we had to server hop to find the negotiator door open

there is a ban pa key i tried farming for and never got and now all of my friends are stuck on that task, on one of my runs i found someone PLOWING through ai and opened every single door like they were some kind of vacuum cheater, it was wild

im nearly 120 tasks complete and the only 2 i have are locked behind keys, over 2k ai kills with 2 key drops, both being unrelated to any task, yelling out what keys i need every time i join a server



boss kills tho, NA east, at any point, i just server hop until i dont see friendlies there, if i land and hear gunfire i get back on heli and server hop, every boss has been 1-3 runs and most of the time its because i died rather than someone else killing them, excluding YBL boss
