Noticed it is going down; from 60k to 50 then 20 now 12...

Are people done with this game?

Since there is no REAL actions yet taken to fix the critical state of the game that is only truly playable by highest end PC people (like me with a high/mid spec) just can't be bothered to play a game that is not fun to play with how many troubles there is atm.

I still come everyday after work to see if there is an update to see some progress in the development of the game

reviews are on 67% since 1 week or so

UE5 is an engine in "Early access" in 2024. It will be used to make games in 2024 until 2034 at the very least. You expect a next gen engine to run well on hardware 6 years older or more? That's the bare minimum spec. Get real.

TBH I didn't know UE5 was in EA (probably like 90% of the playerbase) so that would explain some things i guess
but let's face it, it's pretty ballsy to release a game on steam on and EA engine in hope it gets them far, it's a scary thing to be aware of. Almost like a gamble

Not surprising to me. It's exactly what it is "Early Access". I've already put over 100hrs into GZW and only then does the game start getting tedious because lack of gun variety / missions etc. Anyone who claims this "isn't ready for EA" isn't ready to be a PC gamer.

the game is in a terrible state currently. Outside of performance issues, the game itself is plagued with terrible AI and gameplay loop. I quit for now, tired of insta 1 tap by AI server crashes and losing gear and constantly hunting for Keys, absolutely boring.

You just described a skill issue.

People that use this "skill issue" term. 73% end up homeless.

LOL the amount of gear lost due to bug/ server desync/ game crash is more than 100+ but fun to grind and game not optimized I might take a break from this game

im over 100 hours and 100 quests done and I have to agree with you. I mainly want to do quests to finish levelling up my vendors and money, but once you have them levelled up and your money is alright there's not much else. I'm waiting to see a 60 round mag for the AK too, it's a bit goofy that the M4 is the play mainly because it actually has a variety of attachments, whereas every other platform feels neglected right now. And that's not even mentioning the AK hit reg issues.

I'm hopeful they will fix it, but we had 3 hotfixes within the first week and change and now it's been at least as long without any updates whatsoever. I've heard the dev branch has many changes on it right now, but when that will be public who knows.
