Have you been banned and use a controller?

I'm looking to gather information on people banned in the last few days. I too have been banned. I have used a controller through steam and had my keys bound to it. I'm waiting to hear back from publisher on why I was banned. I'd like to get a list of people banned that use controller. I'm seeking options to get this fixed. Maybe I missed it, but nowhere have I seen that we can't use a controller.

I have plugged controller, and I dont get bans. Its the software you use that helps you aim assist.

Yep. Xbox controller. Nothing fancy. No cheats. Have since switched to MKB because aiming is way easier with a mouse. Dumb.

UNLESS stock asus rog software, a 4 year old xbox controller 3d civil CAD building software 2d civil cad building software, Bluebeam, Adobe, all the blueprints, and designs I've built, fortnite, steam, and this game needing it's files constantly verified as the devs have told us(anyone who's verifies has technically altered them fyi so you're a cheater n should be banned if you have) I'll bet you your lifes earnings, my life earnings and every penny madfinger makes on this game that I got banned for zero reason.. let's put your money where your c-holster is there big shoots

To be fair, if you go into a game and go into settings and controls and their is no controller input settings for controllers; controllers are not supported by said game. You basically will have to trick the system in letting you use one which is technically an exploit. I don't personally care about aim assist cause im dead accurate with a mouse and will forever more more accurate with a mouse than a controller but it is what it is.

Face, Aim Assist has killed PC gaming. Its so bad now You cannot win kill them. You see them going 60-5 more and more. They complain about cheating, but they are cheating more then anyone.

Tbf, all you do is switch an enable button over in steam and wallah, your using a controller now.

Steam directly maps the controller to keys on a keyboard. So the in-game keybinds can be adjusted to your liking, just like they can for everyone else.

It's not magic, its a part of Steam.

I am a life long controller player, and don't have the dexterity to use a keyboard to game.

I am also in the boat that Aim Assist is cheating.

To give you an example, in BF2042, I use Steam's configurator, which means that I don't get aim assist in BF2042 or any other game for that matter. And because I refuse to use the in-game config, I don't get the reduced recoil that controllers have either.

So I have to control the extra recoil exactly like KB&M players do.

Just curious as to when everyone who uses a KB&M decided it was an unfair advantage to use a controller? This isn't COD you goofballs.

I too was banned for which I can only assume was due to using a controller. I am new to pc and did not feel comfortable using MnK. My friend who told me about this game said he seen a youtube video on how to use a controller schematic off the steam community page for GZW. He told me the one he used. I searched thru the list available and downloaded the one with the most DL's and specifically stated it was designed for GZW. I used it for a few days then another friend of mine that has the game persuaded me to learn MnK only a few days after using. Ive used MnK the last 3 weeks. I have reported several bugs on the DC page and helped numerous players on the game. I purchased the "supporter edition" of the game after trying the game for the original $35 and loving it. I have over 155 hrs logged on this game and now BANNED because of using a controller which NOWHERE does it state in the game that you cannot use. Absolute BS!!! I am currently dealing with a ban appeal and last word I got was they were looking more detailed into the situation and will be back with me asap and thanked me for my patience. Do better. SMH

I have 4k hours in Hell Let Loose with a controller and wreck KB&M players all day long. There is no aim assist in that game, and never will be.

To hear KB&M players whine about controller advantage is laughable.

Aim Assist is cheating, and it exists to combat KB&M players when crossing over the center of the stick movement.

Some games the AA is way too strong, but we are talking about a game that doesn't have aim assist.
