what have you done to the rendering distance?
ok why is the buildings in the distance now not rendering? they look bloody awful.
Did the new patch change this? please make this switchable, I payed a lot for this computer and run it on max graphics.
please I understand your trying to improve performance but this looks crap.

This could be a very big problem of using Unreal's Nanite LOD system. 600 meters were already unusable for sniping: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3244890699

What is the point in grinding the levels to reach the point where you can buy and mod the M700 with the x18 and x25 scope when nothing renders in over 300m, anything past 300m looks like marshmallow and to make it worse it is as if the AI only spawn based on your proximity to their spawn location's, so if you have taken the time to get into a long rang position you aren't going to see anything as none will spawn. This then gives you a sense of unease as you don't trust what you are looking at, could there be enemy players walking beyond 300m and you jut can see them???

Nanite does not seem to be implemented.

I believe players can be seen from over 300m but AI cannot be seen past 200-300m depending on the angle and height of your position, for questing its totally useless for sure, I guess this also applies for players but from past experience could see some between 300-500m no further than that.
I too noticed that things render in or out in the distance when in the chopper, I dont have any increase in fps either so seems like maybe its for lower end systems. prefered it that things stay rendered in. One of the things that excited me was the fact that if you lay down in cover that someone from a far distance wouldnt be able to just see you because the cover wasnt rendered in.

Yes, Patch 1 changed view distance to improve performance for people on lower end systems. trade offs are being made. Perhaps someday they will match players on servers depending on their client hardware specs.
