Can This Be Played Offline?

It's listed as an MMO, which is worrisome, but discussions on it also talk about playing alone against AI.

I'm getting pretty frustrated with a bunch of games I'd otherwise be interested in being always online, needing connection to a server to even start. My issue is that this kills interest in investing time, money, or personal attachment to a game if I'll one day forever lose access to it when the servers are shut down, even if that's many years off.

I'd love to see a game with this level of detail be playable without internet, against AI, with all customisation options, etc. still available to solo players.

If it does have to be online, i kinda hope there is a COOP only mode as well where the bots can be harder, but its only you and your friends.

Most likely not, the game is advertised as a Online COOP , and no mentions of solo session and offline modes.

There's a game in early access of Steam called Incursion Red River. It's a co-op extraction shooter that can be played single player and offline, just beware only the alpha build is available but it has immense promise
