or just, i know its an oldscool idea, just play the game for fun, get a mate over, open some beers and have a laugh, in the end even the best farmed epic loot still is useless, play a game as long as its fun, there are plenty of other games where you have to grind the fun away...
the game has an endgame with scaling enemies, that aside i think the devs went for the playing is its own reward idea
You don't really seem to grasp that other people might find other things fun from yourself. Fans of the Sacred games prior to this consider it a pretty shallow and unegaging experience for the most part.
It's a bit offensive to tell people how to enjoy things, particularly when something seemed designed almost with the express intention of alienating those old fans.
like there is a point in any video game, that aside, i think question has been answered, now the trollgates are open again :P

For comparison over a similar time period, let's look at Spore. A 6 year old game commonly considered one of the biggest gaming disappointments of all time.

Edit: Apparently it doesn't retain time settings for them. All of Sacred 3's history and the 7d period on Spore, if it wasn't obvious.
sounds pretty much like any video game to the non informed observer
I've borrowed the game from a friend on PS3 as of yesterday, I'm taking the time to actually play it so I can have a more informed opinion. Thusfar it's not THAT far from the truth though. I'm not going to take a huge dump on the game in and of itself. But it is extremely shallow and repetitive, and about 2/3rds through it, it feels exactly the same as it did in the first two stages.
If it had been called something else and priced at $10 or $15 at most, I'd probably have picked it up myself and been pretty pleased with it, it wouldn't have been a cherished classic I revisit but I'd have gotten my money's worth out of it under those circumstances.
