There has to be a reward for doing so. Although I am a little afraid to play difficulty IV as James Pond.
To be honest, high tier maps are lackluster. Not sure what they add (more than likely more buffed enemies and spawn rates), but since enemies don't give you XP, and money doesn't translate into improving your character half the time (if for example your harvesting stats are not that high)... The market is quite generic. If you could for example purchase level up upgrades for an increased price, it could be more helpful and assist with the RNG that can destroy any run from what I've seen.
