World Builder Installation Problem

I downloaded the World Builder form cnclabs.com. I extracted the files (there was only one file there, the application), clicked install and it said:

An error(-5004 : 0x80070005) has occured while running the setup.

Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications. If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: Electronic Arts.

How do I fix this or did I download the wrong file? If any of you guys know how to fix this problem please tell me. A step by step instruction would be really cool. Thanks

I think I have a solution to this ^

I had the same issue cause I was trying to edit the regedit from my secondary Windows Account, that didn't have Administrator rights. I switched to the Administrator Account and I added the slash without problems, though when I installed the Worldbuilder for Kane's Wrath I got the following error: CRC error: The file F:\Command & Conquer 3 kanes Wrath\WorldBuilder.exe doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted; contact your software vendor. If anyone has a solution, I would appreciate it

I'm sorry, I didn't understand the end part (I'm not that good with english), but do you mean that the os I'm using is corrupted (like not genuine) or just Kane's Wrath?

I think the problem lies on the setup.exe file for Kane's Wrath WorldBuilder, but I'm not sure

I don't have a installation problem, actually, I am having problem when I try to launch WorldBuilder. When I try so, a message pops up saying "The application failed to start because side-by-side configuration is incorrect". Any ways to fix this?

For anyone who decided to dig up this grave and has the same side-by-side event 33 error when trying to run WorldBuilder, the missing redistributable is Visual C++ 2005. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26347

reinstalled my game after years and both editors wont properly install says file path is changed.
