I suppose. But if the tib wars multiplayer is still dead I don't think there's enough incentive to jump back in.
The skirmish AI is actually fantastic and has a wide variety of playstyles/difficulty to justify keeping the game installed forever as an RTS fan.
In fact, it has some of the best skirmish AI of any RTS game still to this day.
After 15 minutes on gsync/LFC, you won't even notice the game is running at 30fps, because it's a locked and consistent frame delivery. It's actually really hard to get the game to dip under 30fps on modern hardware.
Pity there's no siege mode for skirmish, though.
Not sure what you mean by siege mode but you can set the AI to Turtle or Steamroller behavior which leads to you laying siege on their super defensive base or fighting with massive armies.
Also there's a cool conquest mode.
