Ultimate edition update deleted old saves and profiles

I think someone pushed the wrong button when they updated to the new bundle, all of the progress I made in this game as well as Kane's Wrath, RA3, and RA3 Uprising is all gone. Really annoyed about it for this game cause I just unlocked the Scrin campaign and now I have to do that all over again? What the frak's going on here?

Lol, reminds me of when Games for Windows LIVE was thing. If you uninstalled a game and reinstalled it, GFWL made a new "security key" for the game, and if it didn't exactly match your backed up save files, it would delete them. Supposedly it was some vague game hacking excuse, but the community in general was convinced it had to do with save sharing for harder achievements.

I think the reason here is version incompatibility. Your saves are probably still there somewhere but the game has moved the save location to somewhere else.

I only exp. missing intel and such probably because i played patched down versions of the game.
You could get some saves online or from another user.
I can offer the entierty of gdi and nod to brazil.

The same thing happened to me, the command and conquer game was deleted, I searched everywhere and I couldn't find the save files

Checked around on my hd, could not find anything other than the new stuff created when opening the games, the files are gone. EA strikes again trying to reinvent the wheel only to make an obtuse triangle.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm good with playing through the campaigns again. Just annoyed with EA's idea trying to "make things better"

They just moved the saves to a new folder location. The old saves can be copied over.

A nice thought, but I looked through all locations for the games and all the profiles had been changed to autocloud vdfs dated for the day of the update. Again, super annoying, but not the end of the world as I can just play through them once more, I just wish EA had left well enough alone for these games.

In my case it didn't work because I failed to backup one of the two profile folders during an OS wipe. I just grabbed the primary save folder and assumed I was good. <.<

Oh well, it is a short game and I wanted to replay it anyway.
