Up to date tech and mod info
Since the C&C games seem to be enjoying a decent boost in recent popularity, I thought I'd ask for some current info regarding mods, patches and fixes. (Multiplayer specific: see below).

Are there any QoL/visual mods, technical fixes, and/or unofficial patches that are more or less required to run properly on current hardware and more importantly to not rage-break said PC hardware in a fit of frustration?

The example I know of is the official current version 1.09 messed up both Campaign missions with balance changes intended for multiplayer and shockingly never fixed this (Does not apply to Kane's Wrath). Is there a generally accepted current fix or mod to address this?

Other than that, if anyone knows of any completed or non-abandoned mods, or total conversions that they would suggest and are in working condition. I've seen a couple total conversions that bring the campaigns from Tiberian Sun/Firestorm and Tiberian Dawn/Covert Ops to C&C3, but don't know if any are currently working and completed their goal. Others brought red alert over.

If I get some responses to the above or something related that will help get the most enjoyment out of Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath, I will edit the original post to add the info under the appropriate heading. In one place on the discussion board since it can be exhausting researching mods while determining if the information your seeing is not out of date. Goes well enough I'll paste it into a guide.

- a link to mod-db or wherever the files can be aquired.
- Rate as essential, recommended, it makes you giggle....
- Completed, working beta but not abandoned, WiP....
- Special install instructions

MULTIPLAYER NOTE: I don't know enough about Tiberium Wars multiplayer to even ask the right questions. I've seen mp fix guides, so I assume there is a reason for them. I know some of the applicable suggestions for this post will also be for multiplayer, but I'm thinking that should be a separate post. I know troubleshooting mp for older games can be a nightmare, but if you think you have something that should be included speak slowly and be very specific. I will literally be copy/pasting.

There is a very recently updated guide in the game's steam community hub regarding the 1.09 patch messing up the campaign balance. If it works well, is doesn't mess with other stuff; I'll just link that here.

Can anyone confirm the guide gives best fix for the issue?

This is kind of a hot mess really, but the resurgence in interest gives me hope. There are a decent amount of C&C mods still under very active development, but there are way more that just look like they are.

I basically copied a lot of info from a redditt thread I started that is getting decent feedback on up to date mod info across the CC universe. I still plan on updating here even if the post doesn't gain traction, but waiting for discussion to clarify a lot of info and give others time to respond. Big surprise, but there is a lot of contradicting info popping up.
