When I try to start the game, this message appears: "Failed to fetch Steam App Name." Can anyone help me with this? Is it an error, or what is it?

Right-click, Properties, Installed files, verify integrity of game files?

Supposedly this was one solution the subreddit found:

"On steam select to browse the files, there should be a file named "CNC3_english_1.10.SkuDef", either rename or delete it. I had this same problem and it worked for me at least."

Deleting skudef or passing -runver works, but downgrades the game to the previous version. Here's what fixed it for me:

- right-click the game on Steam > browse files
- navigate to RetailExe/1.10
- rename or delete steam_appid.txt

This should also work for KW (RetailExe/1.3) and RA3 (RetailExe/1.13). Maybe the other games in the collection too, but I haven't tested.
