Game won't load on Windows 11 with DirectX 12

Hello all,

I can't get the game to load. I've tried everything I've come across in this forum to try to get the game to start. I'm using Windows 11 and DirectX 12, and all I get is the initial screen. It stays on for about 20 seconds (I timed it) and then disappears. The only thing two I can think of is that perhaps there is a problem with my directory.ini file, which is empty OR maybe I'm having problems because I'm not on an gaming computer (for which the DirectX error saying I need to make sure my graphics card is up to snuff has disappeared).

I'm running this in Compatibility Mode for XP Service Pack 3, which is compatibility I've tried; I've also tried XP Service Pack 2 and Vista. It's running as Administrator, and I've changed the DPI settings to High Performance, with it being scaled by the Application.

Try going into the windows settings.

System > Display > Graphics

Look for the .exe of the game and set it from let windows choose to high performance.

Even if u dont own a APU like me certained games from 2008-2010 are that kinda stupid.

Had this error with cnc and fallout 3 so far.

Oh, maybe I didn't say that I did that. I did that last night.
