Stuttering in cutscenes and gameplay

basically the game runs fine save for a small annoyance.
Occasionally the game either during a cutscene or midgamplay with freeze then continue. Sometimes its just once sometimes its a couple of times in a row. Any tips on how to fix?

Worth a shot, just make sure that you make backups of whatever files you mess with, just in case this doesn't solve your issue.
