WinRAR is an archival program; it makes archive files by "zipping" files into one big, compressed file (similar to .zip files essentially, someone can give a better description of its functionality).
You can get it here (legally for "free"):
https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Direct links:
(32 bit) https://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar58b1.exe
(64 bit) https://www.rarlab.com/rar/winrar-x64-58b1.exe
ALSO, check out this video about its licensing and why I say it is "free":
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTgZRVVr3_Y
Go through the steps of installing the software; then afterwards:
1) Open the file via WinRAR (double click the file)
2) Select "Yes" to the UAC prompt (if any)
3) Click "Extract To" at the top left hand corner of the app
4) Click either "OK", or set your destination path at the top of the pop-up, then press "OK"
You can look online for further instructions, but these are the basics needed for extracting your mod files. Hope this helps!
Pick whichever seems more feasible for you, OP!
