German language files

Hi all,

we all know that EA has some problems with support of their player base.
Therefore you can't change the language when you own the decade editions.

Is anyone able to upload the language files for this game (german version) ?

Kanes Wrath:

- CNC3EP1_german_1.2.SkuDef
- all files in: GermanAudio
- all files in: Lang-german


Tiberium Wars:

- CNC3_german_1.9.SkuDef
- all files in: GermanAudio
- all files in: Lang-german


I think, they would allow us to change the game to german too.

I've been compiling some language packs for RA3, TW, and KW. I believe I have both the censored and uncensored German versions on my PC, but I'll need to compile them into the packs before uploading them.

You can keep track whenever I have them uploaded here; I've already got all of the RA3 and Uprising packs uploaded (the official packs for now, that is): https://www.moddb.com/members/medstar/blogs/language-packs-for-origin-steam-and-disk-users

There's still a few out there for TW and KW that I am unable to get since they only come on specific disk copies (namely Thai, Korean, and a couple other ones); but I should have all of the German ones or at least know where to get them.

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about you and that I have some spare time on my hands; I finally got both the censored and uncensored German files for Tiberium Wars sorted out, and I'll be doing the same for Kane's Wrath sometime soon.

I did notice that the .SkuDef files don't mention anything regarding GermanAudio--and I used the official patches on the 1.0 files to make sure I wasn't missing anything. English audio is mentioned, but it'll most likely be overwritten by something in the Lang-german folder due to its file size..I believe it does that for the other languages as well if applicable.

I'll leave another message here once I get the German files fully uploaded. Mainly just wanted to give you an update

i can´t install the german lang pack. The lang installer opens but i cant set a match the language. Only option ist to go back or cancel?

Sounds like it can't find where your game is installed at. It looks in the registry for where you install your game.

I'll be modifying my installers at some point soon so that one can specify where they want the pack to be installed. I've just been busy with other projects.
