Ultrawide Support?

This was one of my favourite strategy games I first played on console. Now I've moved to PC can anyone tell me if this game supports ultrawide resolutions? specially 3440x1440

I'm wondering the same, Flawless Widescreen has it listed as supported but I haven't been able to get it working at 3440x1440. I could swear I had it working at some point in the past.

Might try passing -xres 3440 -yres 1440 as command line arguments to force the resolution on boot. If it's stretched out, maybe that's what you did to get Flawless Widescreen to work with it?

Just taking a wild guess at that, since I don't have a widescreen monitor.

Yeah that was the first thing I tried, no joy. Still stuck in 16:9 unfortunately.

Set your in game res to the max thats on the list. Then do this

Not sur ei fyou are still looking but you can add your desired resolution to your C:\Users\"your username"\AppData\Roaming\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Profiles\yourusername.

eg Resolution = 3440 1440

im running 3440x1440 and ultrawide works fine. Enjoy.

This is working for me! Thank you. Is there a way to get refresh rate above 30 and possibly increase the max zoom out?

Possibly, i have a feeling increasing the framerate will cause issues with the animations and game speed, but i haven't personally tested it

It's possible to unlock the framerate by the use of a .BIG editor, the issue is that its' tied to game speed.

I did this and game wont start anymore. Only the loading screen and thats it

That's a little strange, it worked fine for me. Done the usual verify files etc? maybe do the change after launching it for the first time? all the usual troubleshooting stuff

unfortunately it zooms right in when using wider resolution making it harder to play

Thats really odd, are you positive its using the correct resolution?

The Menus and Loadscreens will always be 16:9 the Missions, Skirmish and Cutscenes will be 21:9 using -xres 3440 -yres 1440
