Croatia Mission
I've tried to beat it like 15 times now. Lol.

I like how hard it is... But I also want to finish the game so I can play the others. Xd

I've been stuck on Alexandria for hours now. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and makes zero sense. Every mission prior was pretty easy but the 'powerful mammoth tanks' are just super easily countered by rocket squads, which the nod base is pumping out non-stop on top of rocket bikes. I've heard some patch nerf has made this mission nearly impossible to beat due to this crap. By the time I've built up a sizeable force (most of which gets worn down defending my base), I push in to roll the enemy base and they get reinforcements immideately and just roll me back.

I don't mind a challenge, but I also don't want to waste my time on broken content due to a bad patch.

This game might actually have the worst RTS single player I've ever seen. Dear God, what is this trash. I've had easier times doing Starcraft Brutal than this heap of junk.

I have to agree that the patch made for MP did ruin some of the SP contents. Challenge is good, but playing through a broken mission because of a bad patch is a different story.

Abandoned GDI base attacked from 3 sides that you need to protect for some time while waiting for reinforcements to arrive.

I just beat it. The key was capturing the Southswest Nod base, which is very easy to take... Then building a ton of laser turrents in the East. After that things became much more easy.

apcs with rifleman squads 1 turret on each side with 1 aa all buildings repaired 2 harvesters
take the infintary base out/capture it use it to collect more resorces and build power dont worry about the renforcements at all just focous on protecting your base well you build up the nod one take out the tank base then go get renfocements build zone troopers to jetpack up and take out aircraft base

steam version is harder with building buildings while the circle is lower when it was came out on the cd-rom so you could expand when building reactor and with trainer i tried out omg even enemy base can build instant why produce trainer where enemy also instand hp on building/troops/vehicles/ build such as hard but i could beat all even the all achievement and hardest for me to get win is/was sarajewo where the tank need unharmed back 2 prime temple and that wasnt easy tho cause when you on cd you had an avatar but on steam you had only 2 flame tanks/buggies/infanteries/and bombers no avatar xD but after good feeling 30 times i found a way to solve it

Key is to rush the north Nod base as soon as possible but leave the construction yard intact
build about 8-10 Predators while steadily defending your base and quickly send them to the northern nod base.

Destroy everything there except the construction yard , send a engineer there cap it.
Enjoy having extra armies , build cues and defensive structures.

Rest of the mission is just ignoring the MCV and spamming NOD turrets in your main GDI base till you are satisfied then just expand with your nod structures and capture the remaining 2 Nod bases by steamrolling them with their own technology ^^

Mission completed.

Be warned you need to be quick to take over the North base if you delay too much they will have a lot of higher tier units that will make capturing that base barely possible.

Mission completed. (this tactic works with 1.09 patch and it makes this mission laughably easy)

Yeah, it's the kind of "you have super limited resources, your enemy has infinity" mission that they liked to shove into every C&C game. They were always ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and ruined the campaigns. This one was particularly annoying as you're up against three different bases with unlimited resources, therefore you have ZERO time to regroup between attacks. It's not impossible, but it's such a ridiculously cheap and dirty difficulty ramp that it really turned the campaign from a challenge, to just plain annoying, and eventually boring. By the time I beat it, I'd lost most of my interest in the game, and it took so long to beat that I'd forgotten most of what was even going on in the story. This was playing on normal difficulty, as I'm not exactly a master at RTS games. This mission should really have been a lot later in the campaign, as the brick wall of a difficulty spike really ruined the game for me.

Neither am i but the tactic i mentioned in my post above that i picked up from some random guide online i google works flawlessly all the time.
