Playing online in 2018

So how are people playing online these days? The original servers were shut down a while ago right? What 3rd party software do most use?

Is there even much online play these days (this or Kane's Wrath)?

Is 1.9 overall more positive for MP play or overall more negative?

Last time I played online was years and years ago when the official servers were still running. I'd basically be a newbie (and a noob) again. Should I even bother?

I can't say much as I don't really play this. I play Red Alert 3.

But I do know that these servers run through C&C: Online.

I think kanes wrath has more player than this but the live player count on the homepage will be able to tell you.

To play your C&C game(s) online (Generals and newer C&C games only), you now need to setup a service called C&C: Online.
What you'll need to do in order to play:

• Create an account on: http://revora.net.

• Download the C&C: Online launcher from: http://cnc-online.net/download/ . Note that you'll only need to download GenTool if you're going to play Generals or Zero Hour.

• When you've downloaded and installed the launcher, hook your C&C game, close the launcher and run the game again as you normaly would trough Steam. The C&C: Online launcher will pop up instead, click on the game you want to play.

What do you mean by "Hook up" and how do you do it?

@Sorthi: The launcher has an option in the main nav called "Hook". Click it and select "Tiberium Wars", then you should be good to follow the rest of the steps.

i think i have the same issue running we can see each other but cant start a match coused by one of the players are nt connected idk how to fix it
