im got C&C online I tried getting into a game but what buttons do I press to join the game of the person im with.
register
download the launcher C&C:Online Launcher version 2.0.7
"hook" the game
then launch game cnc3
When you want to start the game then, you start it from your Steam library (or make a shortcut). If the game has been hooked, you will see C&C Online window popping up. Click on C&C3. That is how you run game when it is hooked. "Hook" means C&C Online program will open when you run game through its shortcut or through Steam Library.
Unfortunately, multiplayer is pretty much dead, unless you are willing to play 10 000 times redzone rampage.
if you want a competitive atmosphere roll over to coh2 or aoe2
Besides you are wrong. it is not mainly for playing with other friends. Most people on C&C Online do not know each other. it just that most people are there are not capable of playing anything else than redzone rampage. I have been there for 3 years. I know what I am talking about.
But most players that dive into RTS are looking for a challenge, when EA dropped support for the game the last 2k active playerbase left with it.
You'll only see casual games now, and all of the pro's really only 1v1 their friends here and there for nastalgia. All of the recent casts lately on youtube are of noobs playing against each other.
As for the casual games.... That is what I am trying to explain to you. Most guys play redzone rampage, so the competitive guys either leave or are rarely active, because it's hard to get games going. They do appear from time to time, but not so much. When they appear, they play anyone good. Same for the guys who play redzone 24/7. They do not know each other. They come online and play anyone who's there and who's willing to play redzone 24/7. So, your argument that it's mainly for playing with friends is wrong.
www.cnc-online.net is the best way to play online Tiberium Wars. Not comparable to Gameranger, Hamachi etc. Best time to play is at 8-11pm GMT :)
