Mods not showing in the browser

I've created the mod folder, put the mods inside but when I go to the mods window in the launcher no mod shows up, and I can't find anyone that has my same problem. Please help me.

Where did you create the mod folder? I'm on win 7 and it's C:\Users\MyName\Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\mods, not in the game folder but Documents.

ooh, maybe I've found the problem. I think my mistake was that I put my mods folder in the steamapps folder. I'll now try to put them in the folder the way you did brb.

hello. I have problem with run mod tacitus revolution. mod is in folder mods, but i can't run control center to chose mod. I tried to to create shortcut of c&c.exe with "-ui" but it doesn't work. Enyone help?
My OS is Win7 and I have tiberium wars and kane's wrath from origin.
Please help

I've done everything that was mentioned here, followed every YouTube video I could find, and my mods still will not show up. Getting pretty annoyed by this.

I've also done all of this on windows 11 but to no success, if anyone has any ideas please help, been trying for months.

check if the mods that you have extracted in the folder is the actual mod files itself ie the .big and .skudef file

if its a folder within a folder then it wont show up atleast that is what i encounter.

I was having this issue as well with a clean install on windows 11. Turns out the browser was looking at the documents folder in my one drive and not locally. Not sure how to change that so I just moved the mods folder over to the C&C folder on one drive and now they show up on the mods tab.

I eventually found it by starting a skirmish battle, saving a replay then searching for the 'replays' folder

It's been so long with zero progress on the issue that I just uninstalled the game and gave up. I tried every possible solution and absolutely nothing works. EA just loves to take literally anything even remotely decent and ruin it.

how did you do it when you make a mod folder it will not work if thats how you did it

This is what did it for me. Switch "and" to "&"...

That worked for me. This is the only place in allllll of the websites i looked that had the answer. No mods showing up for me and i had the mod everywhere, i changed the "and" to "&" and boom the mod shows in game browser now.

so now its C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars

does this mod work like the add-on to world in conflict, ie, new missions inserted through the campaign? i've gone as far as installing it, using the browser, launching, and all i get is "tiberium essense" on the right side, nothing else.
