Does this game require an Origin/EA account at all?

Hello,

I have looked through the forums of all Command and Conquer (CnC) games here on Steam but couldn't determine with complete certainty whether I am required to have an Origin/EA account in order to play this game.

My understanding from the store page here on Steam is that we need an account to activate the product (no Origin client required, however). On the other hand, some of the posts made on these forums suggest that an Origin/EA account is only needed if we want to play online (which I don't, I'm only interested in the single player content).

My question is therefore: Can I play the single-player content in this game (as well as the other CnC games on Steam) without having to create/have an Origin/EA account? If I don't want to create an EA account, am I prevented from playing the game in single player mode?

No, you don't.

No EA account required at all for TW and KW. An account (on Revora) is only required for multiplayer.
