I really do not like playing on d-pad
Guess i could try to go back to keyboard, like i originally played the 5 TR games.
And I LOVE tank controls.
Its a nice idea but useless until it is fixed. Main problems are the combat lock on not working properly and the camera going insane.
The camera has some issues on tank controls as well but since the controls are not camera controlled it doesn't screw you over like it does with modern controls.
Sure, tank controls feel even clunkier than they did when I was a kid playing TRII, but they're still preferable to the nightmare that is this game's "modern" controls. I don't uderstand why there's even an option. Just make the controls the same as the PS1 version, but add "modern" movement to the left analog stick, and free camera to the right analog stick.
And that's coming from someone who played REmake HD, RE0 HD, and Tormented Souls with modern controls for 99% of the game. Only ever switching to tank controls, which was as simple as moving my thumb to the d-pad, when there was a particularly awkward camera transition.
I found that when the camera freaks out you just middle mouse (view) and then middle mouse again and it usually fixes it.
