Achievement Not Killing Sharks

I went though the entire levels of the the Wreck of Maria Doria levels (from start to finish) and I did not kill or harm any of the sharks in that level. For some reason when I finished to head to the snowy levels, I did not get the achievement for No fish soup today. I made sure not to target the sharks or fire my pistols and only attack the enemy scuba guys and barracuda. If the barracuda count toward the achievement, they are not sharks when checking the World Wide Web. Is that a bug?

Did you get bitten by a shark? Cause the achievement specifes that you can't harm or be harmed by the sharks.

Nope. I did hear sharks making noise as if they are biting, but my health bar did not go down.

Killing barracuda doesn't lock out the achievement (I killed plenty during the shipwreck levels and got the achievement). It probably includes the sharks in 40 Fathoms. Did you shoot or get bitten by them?

I had the same problem with two other trophies particularly hard to have including the one consisting of finishing the game just with the basic double guns. I confess that I am very salty about it because it was very difficult to do... >_<

Same thing with aichmophobia unless you have to finish the last level of India to obtain it (after killing the boss). I did a couple of reloads when I did get hit by spikes.

It counts the sharks chomping as biting you even if they don't get your hit box. Reloaded if I saw them chomp and got it just fine.

I didn't fancy this achievement to start with, and now I fancy it less. Sounds a bit grindy since they quite often tried to chomp me but missed in previous playthroughs before this remaster. And we have the flamethrower guys on top of that

Actually not that bad if you know what your doing in the level, I only had to reload twice and only because I was going for secrets.

That's the main part I'm concerned about, it's difficult to get around two sharks in that one secret, especially with the barracudas getting in the way too. I'd prefer not to run three levels again or whatever it is just to get it... but I might have to anyway because I can imagine I'll struggle with the flamethrower guys.

Yeah all those guys on The Deck will be a nightmare. I suspect many medipacks will be consumed

It counts the sharks chomping as biting you even if they don't get your hit box. Reloaded if I saw them chomp and got it just fine. - If that was the case then the achievement is misleading. Don't let them hurt you is what the achievement is about. In other words, don't let that health bar go down. If you don't see your health bar go down, you are fine. It should be don't hear the chomping noises from sharks instead if chomp noises count as failing the achievement.

Make sure pay attention your health bar when you are underwater or too close to sharks
Or you might be accidentally harm the shark

Did you use the snowmobile with the mounted gun in the Tibet chapter? I didn't get the achievement either, and I think this might be the reason :(
