Thor room bugged??
I beat this game multiple times on PC and Saturn and never had an issue getting through the Thor room in St Francis Folly. It is IMPOSSIBLE to not get hit by lightning. What the hell??

Took the time to record a 30 second little video of how to get in and how to get out just in case anybody needs it

Thanks! That one i'll definitely be able to do, other methods are too hard.
Very doable. Got it a few moments ago.
I've tried it 3 times, no damage, no achievement trigger. Not sure if its because I level skipped to get back to st francis' folly, but the other achieves (trigger all swords but dont get hit in damoces' room, surface on last breath in neptune's, climb before boulder stops in Atlas' room) all triggered on the same run so i dunno
Keep in mind that you need to enter, avoid the lightning, progress into the room, grab the key and exit through the door unharmed. Otherwise the achievement will not pop-up.

Thats what I did on my attempts! I have a save set aside for a patch to the UB collectibles achieve anyway so I'll come back to Thor's room then too in case the achieve triggers are less annoying
I can do this consistently now. i turn right and stay out of the 'circle' of visibly different blocks. I time it so I start running along the wall just as the lightning strikes and i jump over the special tile, continuing into the second room. Same thing on the way back. No swan dive needed. I've done it several times in a row to make sure it was consistent.

I went on the left side of the room and used the pattern on the ceiling as a pathway guide and timed my jumps. I assumed that was the intended solution, but maybe I just got lucky.
I got through just fine on PS4 and Steam. 9.4% of people have the achievement so it's clearly not impossible.

no it isn't, there are 3 invisible blocks you can jump on
Proceed slowly down the steps until the disco ball on the ceiling begins to shoot bolts of lightning. To get through without taking any damage, walk to the right, staying close to the back wall. Then turn to so the lightning ball is ahead on the left. Walk slowly toward the gray floor tile ahead. Stop just before the seam in the floor so there's one regular floor tile between Lara and the gray tile (as shown in this screenshot). Now take a diving roll over the gray tile by holding Walk and pressing Jump + Forward. Quickly release walk and jump or run forward into the next room. (NOTE: The same technique also works on the left side of the room where the tiles are arranged similarly. Thanks to Ivans Chou for this tip.)
