My guess is that you take over the weapons and ammo you collected in your first playthrough. But, not sure.
You know what really sucks? Being forced into Unfinished Business with only your lousy 9mm pistols available. 😋 Considering you immediately meet enemies you only met in the late game in base game... pretty tough.
There's no NG+ specific achievements, except for the three obvious ones.
1. Save Crystals now enter your main inventory instead of key items. They save the game and fully heal you simultaneously. They do not cure poison though.
2. Most Medkits are replaced by ammo. Some Medkits in HSC are replaced by weapons so you more quickly regain the full weapon collection. There are a few medpacks you can still get (Temple Ruins Secret #3 still has a large med, HSC still gives you a small med at the start of level, and there's a small med in the Mason room in Aldwych after you collect the mallet), but since Save Crystals act as your primary med source, these ones are best used to dispel Poison as the Save Crystals DO NOT dispel poison.
3. HSC Prisoners at the start of the level will aggro on Lara after they defeat the Guard for the Button that opens the Kitchen Fan Gate.
4. The Guard holding the Yellow Security Pass in HSC has to be killed by closing door on him; the prisoners won't attack guards at this point and you can't feint prisoners into hitting them.
5. Most Hazard damage are heavily damage buffed. The only hazards I've encountered so far that have NOT been buffed are the spikes and blades that litter the rapids of Madubu Gorge. (Thank god). This makes some secrets, like the first one in Lud's Gate, impossible to get through without either using a medkit you got from HSC/Aldwych or using a Save Crystal as a full heal
6. Health and Damage of most enemy mobs are increased.
7. Monkeys in Jungle are aggressive.
7b. (The Dammed in Lud's gate are still passive until you shoot them, the entire world isn't out to get you.)
8. The Troll Large Medipack in Coastal Village is now a Rocket Launcher. its still a troll.
That's what I've encountered so far! I'm stopping for the day at Madubu Gorge. I will probably experience any changes they made in Antarctica tomorrow.
