Original controls (known as "Tank" controls) and original camera are still present and give the same feelings of before.
Guaranteed by someone who played and finished all the five classic Tomb Raiders.
It's a shame they couldn't be bothered to fix that since they presumably had to update the code to make this work.
People complaining about either never played the calssic ones or wanted "more modernized hand-holding controls" that preveent them from falling off ledges automatically or that auto-correct the jumps so Lara never miss it if they jumped wrong.
Mind you I mostly played TR2 (finished it plenty of times on PSX and on PC years later) and I didn't really felt any difference when it comes to movement. With camera there ARE some minor differences since you are able to cnotrol it freely with right analog stick it will sometimes behave differently but it didn't feel like any kind of issue tbh
All in all after doing two first levels I haven't felt anydifference when it comes to movement itself.
Of course I am talking about classic controls. I don't think modern can work too well for this kind of game
The original Tomb Raider was available on PC, despite being a console exclusive for PS. I don't know whether the PC version was a port or the PS version was, but I'd imagine this remaster borrows heavily from the original PC version.
