The thing is the classics are more puzzle boxes with 3D platforming, the new ones are action games. I like what they did with 2013 but I'm excited to try the originals to see what the hubbub is.
Also, everyone knows the historical facts that a womenz couldn't fire a gun, let alone two at once.
FFS.
Only "30 fps classic mode" and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ modern controls is a no go.
If:
- the lighting wouldnt be so dark
- the controls would be less clunky
- it would have checkpoints instead of manual save
- the texture tiling wouldnt be as visible
- they would use tesselation for the textures
it probably would be a 85/100
But even the way it is now its for sure ~ 78/100
Uncharted is just one of those interactive movies, with style over substance approach. It looks cool, but its way too easy to play. 👶😴😴😴
the new ones are just cinematic with button prompts and deer hunting skinning animals... sure the graphics are nice compared to the 1996 tomb raiders but gameplay wise next gen tomb raider might as well be called cave hunter.
Too right, that.
Nathan Jones also invented video games based on the invention of treasure hunting.
