Conveyor Belt fuse gone?
In Nadlers Mine after evading the Cowboy, getting into the TNT room and activating the switch on top I went back cause according to a walkthrough I didn't get the other fuses. The first was blocked by a boulder which I couldn't get past but for some reason that trap was reset when I went back. But then I went to the conveyor belt room and the conveyor belt was running for some unknown reason but the fuze wasn't in front of it. I guess it's a bug but can I somehow circumvent that? My last save was quite some time ago.

Yup, game bugged out hard - the house also came down - well... sort of - one of the now two houses. Only a medkit in it but not the weapons like they're supposed to be.

I guess I'll have to go back to an earlier save which is an earlier level. Welp...
Anyway, please fix it asap.

Alright, I actually managed to get the third fuze by progressing normally (jump on the nadla box right before the Cowboy, hit the switch, get to the other switch near the conveyor belt and hit that switch). With that the fuze appears before the conveyor belt. Before the fuze was just invisible and the moving conveyor belt was just a superficial error. And after putting all 3 fuzes in, you'll find the guns in the lowered house and can progress.

Edit: I still went back to an old save and did everything in the proper order just to make sure - this was just for science and for others who might find themselfs in this situation.

I also preserved the buggy save, incase anyone from Aspyr wants to take a look. Don't know where to send it, though.

Thank you very much for this post. I thought that this was a game breaking bug and that i would have to start over.

Check my third comment and see if progressing as you would normally circumvents the bug.

I didn't have the fuse disappear, but I forgot to get the secret in that room, and when I came back for it the shack disappeared, making it impossible to jump to the secret.

Yes, I've already got it. It's my first time playing so I didn't even know how to activate the conveyor belt, I didn't see the hole above Natla's box so I thought that the lever above the lava was for the conveyor belt. So I was very confused when I returned to it and it was actually running, but there was no fuse.
If I had know the lava lever was for the TNT I'd have tried finishing the level, I wonder if that means you would permanently miss the pistols.

Not at all. The devs already thought of that, and in both the original and this remaster (but I think there's at least one port that breaks this), you automatically start the next level with pistols if you manage to complete the level without them (which isn't even difficult as long you have enough shells to defeat Cowboy with just the secret shotgun).

That's what happened to me. And did not find the secret shotgun and still managed to finish the level with no issue. Didn't make sense to me getting the pistols and somehow the uzi out of nowhere in the next level. I still don't know what I've missed.

To be fair I think this level was always glitchy if you managed to sequence break it (or at least play it not the way they intended) which is not that hard to do. So i guess this carried over. I could be wrong about this though. (and it would be great if the remaster fixes this ofcourse)

Lara's too hot for the Shag, so it melted. :awkward:

it's the end of March and just got this bug tonight. not sure which lever made conveyor belt move but there was no fuse once it was moving. I guess i have to go back to a way earlier save and try parts over again. I hate that kinda thing. Once the conveyor belt is turned on, why don't the developers just place that fuse at the foot of the belt?
shadowgravy Mar 26, 2024 @ 5:42am
It should be on the floor at the end of the belt. I've played through this level three times (as released on Feb. 14, with the community EGS patch, and after official patch) and the fuse is always there after powering up the conveyor belt.
