Skill issue.
Which is why you should never use them. People getting upset because you're playing with a control scheme that should have never existed for this style of game.
The original tank controls worked just fine for millions of players before you.
through the levels with no clue,
where's my yellow paint? They cry,
as they miss and fumble through.
Their fingers clumsy, used to slide on a screen,
can't handle the controls of this old-school dream.
No magnets on platforms, some skill is vital,
but zoom zoom goes the Zoomer as he continues to falter.

Perhaps only missing something about contextual actions.
At worst, I hate it when I go to do a running jump, and hit jump to quick so she does a jump forward instead, which often gets me killed by falling to my death lol. But that's more of an issue with me hitting jump too quick after hitting forward on the dpad.
