Use your Ammo, this is not TR1 and you may freely open fire on the enemy. You should by this stage in the game be more than capable of shooting up as many Dagger cultists as you would like.
The Autopistols are very comfortable to use, the ammunition to damage scale and TTK is great and it is very hard to waste ammo with them.
The Uzis are one of your hardest hitting weapons, it has an extremely fast TTK but you can easily waste ammo with them if you are not careful.
The shotgun is your one two punch for most enemies, especially in tight quarters.
The M16 is your sniper weapon, Insane fast TTK, Insane Damage per bullet, Insane Range and Accuracy, Terrible handling and mobility. Find a good distance, classic snipers roosts and start laying down automatic rifle fire.
The Grenade Launcher is one of the strongest weapons in the game, bad mobility and bad accuracy though, it works better on monsters and Heavy enemies. If things are tight consider using a grenade here and there.
Fighting all enemies in TR is simple, approach the enemy and when they are exactly in front of you roll and you will be directly behind them and from harms way. The AI struggles to turn around just as much as you do.
I hope this has been informative and turns the game from a struggle to a pleasing narcissistic event.
I believe you could have gotten a Grenade Launcher as a secret reward during living quarters, but if you failed to receive it then you could have gotten a pity spawn on the deck as an ammo spawn. Probably the top level of the deck next to the cabins along a dipped railing.
You should continue to see pity grenade launcher spawns on most grenade ammo points until the end of the game.
Even still, Shotgun, M16 and Uzis are pretty fair to use right now.
If you try to help you risk shooting one by mistake !
If you missed a weapon the game gives it to you later by turning some ammo pickup into a weapon so don't worry about it, good luck :D
Best thing you can do for monks is finding a single cultist who will slip out of the fight and attempt to snipe at the brawl. When they do this they'll be alone and free to kill. Monks have a lot of health and damage so by picking off the snipers they usually do just fine.
