The Quick and the Dead achievement broken?

Only four guards to take down at the beginning of Nevada Area 51 before they can get to the hand scanners.. easy enough to do- the proof being getting access to Armory #1 , then not allowing the security grid to come on line- then gaining access to Armory #2 and finally not seeing the two guard dogs when stopping the 4th Guard.. The achievement will not trigger for me despite multiple attempts without saves etc. Anyone else having this recently? I'm assuming its broken since a patch- I see plenty of YouTube vids showing this being done a couple of months back.

There is another guard you have to kill much later in the level that runs to a handprint scanner. Just after you run past the UFO room (still closed at that time) and climb over some MJ12 boxes you get into a room where a guard will immediately start running to another handprint scanner. Before the patch this guard was not required for some reason but he clearly should.

I got that one before patch 2, and it unlocked right after killing the fourth guard (the one that locks the secret and spawns dogs if he touches the handprint scanner). I thought it was strange because there was another scanner later.

Good News! I reloaded an archived save- and it was the a Guard in the 'Computer Room With Catwalks' and the Achievement popped... note that I had previously killed this chap because the laser trip wires were not enabled in my last play through... so an advisement to readers going after this achievement to Save the game just before the two tiered collection of MJ12 Boxes.
