It might help to post all your pc specs and operating system.
Without any kind of information it's not really easy to support you.
Do you have the possibility to switch between soundcard and onboard sound?
Have you tried connecting headphones to the pcs front jack?
yes i have two main outputs I use for sounds. I use both back jack output for headphone and front for the speaker. Neither works unfortunately. Not sure what the issue is. I have the original TR1 on steam and even that one works fine.

I had no sound at all when I first installed this so heres my guide that might work for you.
Download CodecTweakTool_673.

Install > Run the program > Go To General > Under General Click, "Fixes" at the top left. > Check all the boxes > Apply & Close > Box Will Close > Fixes Are Being Applied At This Point > Then Launch Game
