Which game of the trilogy is your favorite?

Without a doubt mine is tr3, it's the longest, most varied and most complicated. It was also the first Tomb Raider I played so it will always be special to me .

The first game. I played the most. Its atmosphere, environment just makes it the best for me. Also I don't like vehicles in the later games and the first game has no vehicle usage. I also love Egypt, Peru. Greece and Atlantis levels a lot especially level designs are so good. Second game is a bit too action with human enemies, generally less interesting level designs. Although I also like it, not really my favourite like the first game. Marine, china (second visit) and floating island levels are good though, I just don't like Venice parts. And the third game is just way too hard with even less interesting level designs than the first two games. I really don't like the third game at all.

Tomb Raider 2

Tomb Raider 2, with 1 being a close 2nd. TR 3 had some irritating design. Some weapons required you find them in secrets. In my last playthrough I completely missed the Uzis through the entire game.

With that said TR 3's expansion pack, Lost Artifact, is hands down the best expansion pack in the entire series, including the modern games. The Scottish Highlands are awesome and the French Zoo is really cool. Has one of my favorite secrets where you travel back in time and fight dinosaurs briefly. Also directly ties in to the main game with a returning villain.

TR3 is my all time favorite, followed by TR1 and TR2.

I love them all but TR3 is the one that stands out to me for its varied gameplay/level design, soundtrack and creepy atmosphere

TR1 easily. TR2 had too many bullet sponge human enemies with hitscan aim, and too many BS unpredictable deaths. TR3 was so hard I never even finished it.

TOMB RAIDER 2 i have so mutch love for this game

I'd say TR1 is the best and feels the most authentic tomb raider experience, I like TR2 but maybe a bit too much ennemies and less tomb exploration. TR3 is the worst one, the level design is very confusing, levels are too big and you cant replay the game without watching a guide because it's so easy to get lost in levels like Aldwych and Lost City of Tinnos.

TR2 without a shadow of a doubt. The enemies are varied and interesting, the level design is almost a case study for gaming developers, the difficulty is spot on (with exception of the "On Deck" level that is a bit too much difficult), the graphics were updated a ton at the time, a huge leap overall from TR1. An almost near perfect game that is still enjoyable 25 years later like very few games we still get nowadays.

Mine is the second. I'd play the first level over and over again. That level is just perfection. The second level is also amazing. The whole thing, the atmosphere, the vibe, the art design from that era... The third is a close second to me.

And TR4>TR1

But they are all great experiences.
