Denial!
It's fine for the asking price, it looks like they're just wrapping new graphics over the old models witch is desired for a remake like this as it keeps the original gameplay intact.
Edit: They also improved the performance since OG games couldn't run above 30 FPS.
Art design and aesthetics are timeless.
It maintains the original feeling and tone, just slightly improved.
With modern controls, this will be the best version of these games.
it's perfect.
Don't think they can pull off the accuracy from original PC controls with 'modern' ones, especially for the jumps.
So nice try troll go back to reddit
Could not agree more. Here's the thing about classic tomb raider. The controls ARE the game. They are what you're supposed to master, and when you do it feels satisfying. People who struggle with the controls tend to ignore the systems they're supposed to be engaging with.
If you don't learn the game, it isn't the fault of the controls. They are specifically designed to be the way they are. It's what makes it unique.
"I won't actually jump until the last minute" - Lara literally telling you how the game works.
The games didn't even have a simple "lock-on" feature which Nintendo used for it's N64 Zelda games.
They also kinda copied the platforming from 2D Prince Of Persia games and no one these days want that kind of non-precise platforming system.
