I love it when remastered games are given away for free to owners of the originals, but let's be real. Significant effort in making the remastered version means it's not reasonable / feasible to offer it for free to anyone. This isn't a charity, it's business.
If you have the originals and don't want to pay for the remastered version, go play the originals.
you want to not pay them?
op is dumb lol
I would have liked that project to continue... :(
Forgive me if my memory fails me, there have been many adventures (and misadventures) in this hobby for so long. :$
you are just being ignorant
That's it, also Bioshock 1 and 2, Darksiders..., and many others. It is the most normal thing on Steam. :$
old graphics or the new
so of course they deserve money they did work!
The actual base games on PC are terrible.
Id knew this with Quake. And guess what they did?
after all it is a business you know
There's always the two open source re-implementation projects called CroftEngine and OpenLara. They come with modern OS support, high resolution support, improved graphics, quality of life improvements, bug fixes, modding support, improved controller support and more.
Best of all they are both free and can be played on Win/MacOS/Linux/Android/iOS/Switch/Xbox/PS Vita/3DS/GBA etc.
