However classic Lara (along with OG Resident Evil Jill and Claire) is my favourite female character of all time. Confident, badass, undeterred, skilled in acrobatics and gunplay, self-made rich, intelligent, beautiful and corny as hell.

I actually enjoyed the TR 2013 reboot with her on the island. Thing was... I assumed that it would be the only game in that style showing how she became the beloved character.

Instead there was no character growth and she remained, exactly as you said, for two more outings.

It was just bargain bin Uncharted without the charm.

Yup, she was kind of a psycho. Werner von Croy was actually the good guy. Not only that but he further redeems himself in the end by tirelessly searching for her.

The only reason they have Lara hating him in Angel of Darkness is because they effed up the storyline by including a REAL person (Jean-Yves) without their permission. They had to change Jean into Charles Kane in Chronicles. That meant that instead of her being angry at the coward Jean-Yves who runs away, she was still mad at Werner.

I personally hope that if / when they remaster Last Revelation they actually restore the intended story. Replace Jean Yves with Charles Kane in Last Revelation. The whole Jean Yves things might be part of the reason they didn't include Last Revelation in this pack. Or they might be waiting to include it with Chronicles. I don't really see an Angel of Darkness remaster anytime soon... too many bugs and issues.
