Action keybind not working
Just bought this game and thought it'd be perfect for Deck. But immediately getting into the mansion tutorial of TR1, im finding i can't grab any ledges when up against waist high crates or doing the big ramp jumps. I tried rebinding the Action function to Y to verify it was reading that key as such, and it was. I skipped to the first level and still not working. How is this "Verified"? At this rate it is gonna be unplayable.

If you're using modern controls I think (somewhat confusingly since it's not explained) the action button is split with the "secondary". So to grab ledges you use that secondary which I think is usually the same button as used to fire weapons (so right trigger on controllers I guess). Then the separate action button is used for picking up items and pulling switches.

Doesn't work for me either and I cam just using an xbox controller, tank controls work but those are worse than I remembered for this game.

Oh wow, no way. Yeah I would have never guessed; that isn't explained. Just tried it and yep, that's how it's done. THANK YOU!

Levers are indeed the Y button on gamepad, but grabbing ledges was R2 like dml! said.

Yeah they really needed to create some kind of in-game control reference for this. Only tank control players have a chance given the tutorials in the home levels, but even then on some consoles they got removed because it was considered confusing on modern controllers. Plus there's not even any manual for additional controls like the original games had. For anyone new to the games or the modern control schemes, it's pretty much guess work playing these games.
