Washed out/overly bright

Launch game > Completely washed out by overly brightness. Have to close the game and reopen many times to get normal color/brightness. Anyone else?

I really dont know what it is but it is not the game. Try checking your game files on Steam, your screen config settings, GPU settings and drivers, Operationaal System settings and drivers, because literally I have no other idea as I have all games normal including TR I-III Remastered.

Your GPU is far better than mine and even more for this game:

So it is not the GPU by itself, maybe GPU drivers or configuration, maybe something else driver (like Operational System) or configurations

All other games work fine. And no not using reshade

If "everything is fine and you did not change or add anything" and "if everything else work fine" I have nothing else to say other than "uninstall the game, make a backup of your saves, delete all folders related to the game, restart your computer then re-download and reinstall the game fro scratch" and just after reinstalled and tested that you go and use the backup of your saves, to make sure nothing there changes.

I myself have no other option left if you even already tested everything else I mentioned (including checking game files at Steam and checking for all your drivers of GPU and OS at your computer)
